Greek, BSc – Kostas (1984) graduated in 2013 as a Bachelor of Science, “Applied Information Technology and Multimedia” at the Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima Kritis in Greece. As part of his diploma thesis "Client Server Online Storage Platform with the usage of C#.Net Framework and TCP/IP socket programming", he created a system that consists of client application side, application, database, web and a backup server. Kostas first became interested in IT and application development at the age of 16 and soon learned to work with Windows, Linux/Unix and Macintosh operating systems. He also developed a particular interest in network programming as well as taking advantage of LAN and WAN networks in a closed architectural system. From October 2008 to November 2011 he worked as an electronic Hardware – Software technician and was the system administrator for a LAN network and had to maintain a PHP web site and a MySQL Database. In 2012 he worked for 6 months as an Erasmus Programmer/Researcher in Karel de Grote Hogeschool (Antwerp, Belgium) on cloud network solutions and Wpf/Silverlight in .Net implementations for a Hydronic Simulation and Optimization program, a java SOAP with Silverlight interface simulation solution for configuring and optimizing building heating installations. In 2013 he joined Avia–GIS as a Software Developer and Network/ Hardware Technician. He mainly contributes to the development of server and desktop software applications (in various programming languages such as C#, Xojo, PHP), database migration tools, online data repository systems (mySQL, postegreSQL, Microsoft SQL) and the design of system architecture.
